You’ve talked about it. You’ve worked on yourself. You may know where your struggles come from, yet still feel pulled into the same thoughts, emotions, and reactions.

Feeling stuck doesn’t mean you haven’t tried hard enough. Sometimes, it means exploring a different approach to care.

This approach may be worth exploring if you:

  • Know what you want to change but struggling to feel or respond differently.

  • Put effort into treatment and wonder what other options might be available.

  • Are open to exploring an experiential approach that combines psychotherapy with medically prescribed ketamine.

A new perspective opens the door to new changes you haven’t seen before.

how We can help

Exploring a different path together.

What is Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy?

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, often called KAP, combines psychotherapy with ketamine prescribed by a qualified medical provider. The process includes preparation, support around the medication experience, and integration afterward.

Ketamine can temporarily change perception, emotions, and your sense of connection to your thoughts or surroundings. Therapy provides space to explore what comes up and consider how it relates to your everyday life.

At Empowering You Therapy, our approach centers on collaboration, emotional support, and respect for your individual history. Together, we explore your goals, questions, and readiness without pressure to pursue a particular treatment.

Is Ketamine Assisted Therapy right for me?

KAP requires both a clinical assessment and a separate medical evaluation. Your symptoms, health history, medications, and previous treatment experiences all help inform whether this approach may be appropriate.

We will discuss potential benefits, limitations, risks, and alternatives so you can make an informed decision.

Our role is to provide psychotherapy. Prescribing, dosing, medical clearance, and medical monitoring belong with qualified medical professionals.

You don’t have to figure out your next step alone.

Whether you’re curious about KAP or unsure where to begin, a free consultation is a place to ask questions and explore your options.
