THERAPY FOR CHILDREN

Tailored support for your child.

Meet Alisha Linder, LAC

Alisha only works with children ages 7 and up.

  • Children's therapy is like a friendly guide for kids dealing with big feelings. It's a space where they can play, draw, and share without using too many words. It helps with tough behaviors, supports them through hard times like moving or losing someone, and even makes school stuff a bit easier.

Sometimes, the therapist talks with the whole family to make things better at home. It's like having a special helper to make sure every kid feels good, strong, and ready for anything, using games and talks that fit just right.

how WE can help

By combining creativity, empathy, and collaboration, we aim to support children in their emotional and behavioral well-being.

In our approach to therapy for children, we prioritize creating a safe and engaging space where young minds can express themselves freely. We understand that children communicate through play, art, and conversation, and our therapists are trained to adapt their techniques to suit the developmental needs of each child.

Our focus is on building a trusting relationship with the child, fostering a sense of security and comfort. We recognize the importance of involving parents or caregivers in the therapeutic process, as they play a crucial role in a child's life. Collaboration with families allows us to create a consistent and supportive environment both at home and in therapy.

We tailor our interventions to address a range of issues such as anxiety, behavioral challenges, trauma, and developmental concerns. Our child-centered approach involves using age-appropriate therapeutic modalities, incorporating play therapy, art, and other creative methods to help children express themselves in ways that feel natural to them.

Through a combination of empathy, understanding, and evidence-based techniques, we aim to assist children in developing coping skills, emotional regulation, and resilience. Our goal is to empower each child to navigate challenges, build positive relationships, and thrive in their unique journey of growth and development.

We want you to know:

You don’t have to navigate this alone.
